What a joke this community is
Hey, community is not that bad. Small, but not bad.
During my plays of demigod I've seen several communities die entirely. There was a group of people playing via Hamachi. No more people there. There was a group of players on Tunngle. Yeah, you guessed right, no more there. A group on Garena. No more there. A group on gameramger. Probably very very few (nearly dead). All went elsewhere and few went here. Communities were not dying because of some certain demigod. They were dying because of bugs, lags, connection problems, the very beginning of demigod (which I haven't experienced). Half or maybe even more of the games have some sort of connection problem. Even with everything flawless, there is a simple in game responding delay. A very good example is sigil fails. When you press to use it, you can hear the sound, yet it doesn't work, but disappears from your inventory. Also potions/scrolls left after death can be taken by more than one demigod at the same time. I think it could be possible to duplicate items in this game like that and simply sell, buy, sell, buy until you have best items (I remember doing something similar in Diablo I game, but that didn't require two or more people). Ub is a bit related to such problems also. His plague lags the game a lot more. Also when he suicides from ooze... It is incredibly annoying.
I personally just have some mindless fun while playing it and it doesn't require lots of time. Unlike most of the other games I play, which are heavily story related and require brains to work to enjoy them at full potential.
The palace is falling apart and everyone is abandoning ship... and the few "elite" players that can't see past the fishbowl continue on like everything is fine... while they go play LoL.
I am not an "elite" player, but I still play... Is it wrong to play the game, which I like? Not everything is fine. I'd prefer to play this game with few mods, however can't do that, because community will never get them. So... Yeah, I play it like everything is fine. I also "play" LoL, but I dislike it. Community is beyond ridiculous. You do one mistake and then everyone "report him", "noob", "[censored]", etc. At least you can mute them... On the other hand, LoL matches with my brother against AI are amazing.
I've learned that best to play the games seriously is single player. And best to play games for fun is multi player. If I take single player games as a joke, they are not fun and if I play multi player games seriously, that causes lots of headaches. As I am not into competitive play, that works perfectly for me.
