im playing galactic civilazations 2:dreadlords.
and im trying colonize a planet
and im doing what the taturial saids.
press on the colony ship. and then on the planet i want to clonize
but nothing happend.
any idears what might be wrong?
Maybe it's an uninhabitable planet? What's it's planet quality? (some number on the planet, like earth has 13 or something and mars has 4). If it's zero then that planet can't be colonized.
Left click to select the ship, then right click on where you want it to go? If the ship moves next to the planet but won't colonize it, then probably either it's a class 0 planet like kolikeos said, or maybe it's barren, radioactive, toxic, or other extreme world. You have to research techs before you can colonize them.
warfrick is playing DL, so there's no extreme colonization tech in the game.
My guess is you're right about the right-click thing.
p.s. warfrick, if you're on a full keyboard and turn off Num Lock, you can use the number pad to move ships one square at a time. 1, 3, 7, and 9 are the diagonals and 2, 4, 6, and 8 duplicate the up, down, left, and right arrow keys.
