RedneckDude no longer in Need!!!!! (solved)

RedneckDude no longer in Need!!!!! (solved)

I'm being selfish....

Guys and gals, you are my extended family. I have a good number of friends here, I think...lol.

I am gonna have to call on you guys for help.  I can't really say much, but that I am in dire need of prayer and good thoughts.

I am facing something in my life that is the worst thing I have ever faced, other than losing my wife and kids. (second wife).

So please, those who pray, pray for me, those who don't, please send good thoughts.

And if I should be here one day, then not come back, know that I will miss you and I always see you as family.

EDIT:   I just want yall to know that this post is about the more people praying, the better my outlook. This isn't for pity, but for help.

Send good vibes, please.

I can't imagine anything that happened as far back as 30 years ago coming back to haunt you Jim, but you're in my prayers.

Pray harder....things looking grim here....:'(

More turmoil today....

Jim: Seriously, go to a lawyer. Although they rarely work through the power of prayer, they are quite effective. Especially with legal problems.

I don't wish "to knock" anyone's beliefs, but to rely on belief and not take effective action in solving one's problems seems to me a less than optimal solution.

Prayers are prayers, I'm not sure I know how to prayer harder.

Are we talking self inflicted turmoil Jim?

What was it you ABSOLUTELY DID NOT DO that is causing so much strife?

"Dear God. You know that whatever RnD asked us to pray for him? Well we did pray for whatever and then he said the whatever was getting worse so I guess we need to pray harder for whatever. So whatever it is we are now praying harder for it."

It was easier to feel sympathetic when I thought it was about your health.

without more details....

Please do what DrJBHL suggests Jim. We're all pulling for you but prayers while excellent in one respect can ease the worry but won't make it go away. Get legal help.

i agree with doc,

'my god helps those who help themselves"

its true.

DUI? Dealing Drugs? Better Call Saul:  http://www.bettercallsaul.com/

No seriously, Jim -- speaking from experience, a good lawyer will make you feel better than a terrific doctor (no offense, Seth).

It was easier to feel sympathetic when I thought it was about your health.
End of quote

All things considered, it IS about his health.  Anything that would have him begging our prayers and "good thoughts" (the nonbeliever's equivalent of a prayer), is affecting his health, because it's causing massive stress.  Stress is a killer.

Jim -- I'm going to stress it again -- GET SOME LEGAL REPRESENTATION!  You need someone pulling for you on your side.  I know you think that God's the one on your side, but in my days in the ministry, it was commonly preached that God always answers prayer, but He sometimes answers "no" -- if He were going to answer "no" to something I prayed to NOT be incarcerated for, I would at least want someone who understood the law standing beside me, making sure I got the best deal possible, to all that God's "no" entailed.  A lot of innocent people get screwed into incarceration because they didn't have an adequate defense, and a lot of guilty people are walking the streets freely because they had a better than adequate defense.

No offense taken, but that would depend on the nature of the problem: I doubt a lawyer can do much for a heart attack (except precipitate one) or cancer (except sue the tobacco company).

Jim I respect your right to keep your personal life private, although there isn't really a whole lot we can do not knowing whether we can help or not.

You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

End of DrJBHL's quote

A lawyer could prevent a heart attack, if RedneckDude would just hire one!   (it's just my personal opinion, Seth, since in my prior life as an EMT and now as a 'medical language specialist,' I pretty much know what to do immediately if I suspect a heart attack, I've done a good deal of advanced first aid, done some things a real MD would shake their heads at due to lack of health care, etc., but when it comes to seeing flashing blue lights in my rear view mirror, I always nearly crap myself and have only head knowledge that I should just keep my mouth shut, answer questions with a simple 'yes, Officer,' and 'no Officer' and refuse to consent to searches).

It does not matter what it's about. It's causing Jim grief and stress and he is looking for the comfort of friends and the support of prayer. That is all we need to know.

Hang in there Jim.

Thank you Xiandi, one are one of a kind, I love you.

It's over!  I have recieved notice that it is over!  I appreciate all your help. I'll not soon forget your efforts in thought and prayer, and I do regret not being able to give any info.

An attorney was gonna cost way more than I could afford. I realize it would have been the best way to handle it.

Regardless of what some may think, prayer moves mountains, it works. All you need is faith.

Again, thank you. Now I shall try to enjoy my 7th anniversary, which is today!

Happy Anniversary... and I'm very glad this is over.

Whatever it was.
