Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!  ;P

Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom *_*

I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).

So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.

For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome! :)

So, I'm back. My cadet force just got back from deployment, we're helping lock down potential vulnerable areas so that we're ready for the counter-attack when Cameron declares war on the Economic Reich of New Deutschland European Federation European Union. ;P

Well yesterday I had my Cyber Patriot competition. I was an observer along with a couple of other members and while I probably would have made the same mistakes it was funny to watch them mess up.

 

Server 2003: 11/14 points

Xp: 16/16 points

 

Our mentor, Chris, goes to my school and is a senior, and he is on a Civil Air Patrol team. The funny thing is, both of the competitions so far, we have beaten his more experienced team.

 

Since we are new though, it is rather obvious. The two working on Xp kept on wanting to delete ports. They ended up killing one of the two ports, you are not supposed to delete under any circumstance. XD

 

The worst part was, that as observeres, we couldn't tell the team about their mistake.

 

They loaded from a backup, so it was all good.

 

We should be advancing to round 3.

Morph, I'm too lazy too look back to see whether it's here, or in the "Elder Chatroom", but I seem to recall posting one of my books here a while back that turned you into frodo for a few seconds, so there's only a 50/50 shot that you "won".  You're at least in the running though, no shame in runner up!  ;p

And whiskey, the picture on that vid was misleading...decent song though.

I had the most perfect early Christmas present last week, as I said. Other than that, I got a guitar a few weeks back, so I'm counting that as the only Christmas present I've really asked for. There's not much I want to be honest. Well, within reason. Obviously happiness for all isn't going to come about from just asking for it.

Other than that, I'm busy with the Christmas season at my church, and I've got revision for exams in the new year. Busy busy busy.
