How to enable mods?

Sorry if someone brought this up before (your search is broken so I can't tell) but I'm wondering how to enable mods. There's a toggle in the options screen, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all, even after you restart the game like it tells you. I thought it might be file conflicts (since changing your selected mod folder is also broken, we can only use the "Mods\default\" folder, yes?) but I completely ovverwrote it, so that can't be it. Has anyone solved this issue?

Open up My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\Prefs.ini

Scroll down to [Game Options]

Change EnableMods=0 to EnableMods=1

Look for ModsDir= and enter the path to the mod directory you want to use e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\Blah\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\Mods\SWFix_Mod

Save the file and you should be sorted.

Tried it; doesn't work. Just the vanilla game. I'm using the Star Wars Vs. Star Trek mod, if that helps.

It could be that the mod and it's folder structure are in a subfolder of the specified folder. If you're in the right folder there will be a ModDescription.xml file kicking around.

Also make sure you have the right version of the mod, I don't know if there are other versions but if so they won't be backwards-compatible.

Yeah, turns out it was nested a level too deep. Doesn't matter though, cause the mod CTDs whenever I try to start a game. Good thing to know for next time, though. Thanks.
