I went back and looked through the thread mumble linked. Doesn't seem so long ago, but i was 34 in that one. Now 38 and still occasionally kicking around the GC2 forums. Was hoping by now to be kicking around the GC3 forums
Gah! I didn't get to that old thread 'til late December and my birthday hasn't happened yet this year, but it's close enough to four frakkin' years for a 45-year-old.
I'm with Mumble in having come to miss some forum folks, even before I shifted to spending most of my time over at Elemental. Those boards are coming up on their 2nd year of operation and there are already some very interesting voices that have left the scene.
My least favorite thing about aging: other people's mortality, both physical and virtual. (Mind you, the lack of adolescent physical rebound powers is a photo-finish second. Youth isn't wasted on the young, but you can't fully appreciate the bodily aspects until they start fading.)
