How do you change how many points a ship can have? for instance a small has 24 points. can you change tht?
You would have to re-make the model. The attachment points are called "dummies", if I recall...
The easiest way is to install Kryo's Hull System Mod.
In the extras you will find an assortment of hard points which can be added to an existing hard point. There are clusters which will add 10 hard points, different arrays of hard points so you can actually make a single ship look like a fleet, and many more.
