Galaxy Forge AI Problem in Diplomacy

Hello,

I have a Problem with the AI on a Galaxy Forge map in Diplomacy. I both added it in the manifest data and the Galaxy folder of Diplomacy and copied it in the Galaxy Forge folder of SoaSE. The map IS playable, BUT i Always get the same problem: The AI is not building more than a few scout ships and no orbital buildings. It's inactive after a minute or so, but NO instant victory/defeat! I get the Victory message after a few hours of playing. :(

I also did everything right by creating the map, i think. Every player has his own homeplanet which is set to "Is homeplanet: "True"", "Terra/Desert Home" and also is owned by a player. The players also owns a few more planets instantly, but those nether Asteroids nor Volcanic/Ice planets. Only Desert and Terran which are not setted to be a homeplanet.

  • 13 Stars
  • 311 Planets
  • FFA
  • Wormholes which are interstellar-connected
  • Plenty of artefacts and planet specials
  • 3 Pirate's bases

do you get the same problem in entrenchment & vanilla sins?

if you are getting the same problem in all games, I would be willing to help solve the map issue(s).

I've tested it in Entrenchment aswell. Same problem :(

advice for multiplanet starting empires in maps, either

1 give significant starting credits/metal/crystal to all empire/players eg 250000/60000/60000,

2 pre upgrade the population to at least level 2 on each of the planets in each empire

otherwise the negative income from several undeveloped worlds will credit stall the empire

Wow, that really helped, thanks! I had no idea that there is a tax on underdeveloped planets. I changed it like you suggested... set the population on level 2 for each extra planet the player has AND i gave them all the same amount of credits.

Even then it took a while for the normal AI to build and develope constantly. But finally it works!
