STOP CRYING ABOUT TERROR STARS!

hey everyone...first post here so excuse me if im a complete moron. Anyway i've seen a couple of posts about terror stars and how slow they are and all this stuff...well its true they are slow however what i dont hear most people talk about is the easy way to get around this. how i use terror stars is like this...and im sure this info is around here but i cant seem to find it so i thought i'd puke it up for ya..

1. research warpdrive. ( and of course the terro star teckz fool!)

2. create loads of constructors ..about 100 depending on how big the enemy is....

3 creat fleets with your constructors ( however many it takes to complete one terror star)

4 send them to strategic locations in the enemy camp...

( the point to this madness is that you dont actually create the terror star until its located where it needs to be saving you loads of time)

obviously this only works if you werent at war with him. its a strategy man come on..gotta use that noodle. lets say you create ten terror stars at once and blow up lets say 20 of his finest planets along with all of his fleets? once they have done their dirty work delete them before the enemy can destroy them...or have your fleets sweep in and clean up...take over his planets that are left and build some asteroid miners to use up all those new asteroids you created.

Production intensive planets and an enemy down in the process. If I weren't such a good guy I'd try it out.

Well, would you invest +100 constructors + an additional war + diplo penalty + a lot of research just to gain some outside asteroid mines?

I do this tactic all the time (I just send 6 constructors per T star)

maid ...as much as i'd love to always have a perfect game you cant ALWAYS just push the AI over with brute force....and no you arent just gaining some " outside asteroid mines", and if you declare war you are going tog et the " diplo penalty" anyway..so why not do it by crushing his 5 or 6 best star systems? all im saying is that terror stars arent " slow". thats it ! they may be slow after you used them...but once they are in the enemy camp they arent THAT slow..besides if you give say (6) constructors to create a terror star is that really that big of an investment? like i said..all im saying is there is a nice simple way to get around the fact that terror stars are slow :D

What about the 10 turn delay?

using the TA MCC you could have those planets culture-flipped already...

culture flipping is dangerous because it can piss off the person you are trying to flip...tho i honestly do love to use that tactic...matter of fact im doing it now.....but sheesh why are you trying to argue that culture flipping is better then the technique i discribed? that is not the point. the point is simply you can get around the fact that they are slow by not building the terror star until its where it needs to be....

I've no interest in getting into an arguement with you.

I've simply asked a single, then, another question.

I didn't knew it could be a problem for you, and in case it is, sorry.
