Galactic Civilizations 3....... PLEASE ANSWER!!!! PLEASE!!

I really gotta know

I know this has been stated by many (including me on 2 seperate posts) but SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER!!!

Will there be a Galactic Civilizations 3? Really, that's it. Please Frogboy/Brad, any other Dev, or experienced player, just yes or no, because thisis literally killing me. I know GC3 isn't high on your priorities but I just have to know.

Only Brad can asnswer that question.  His most recent post on the subject back on Dec. 13 2009 he said "If there is a Galactic Civilizations III someday, it’s going to have to deal with a lot of issues in its game universe." so I don't think he has decided yet.

Well Brad has indicated in several different posts that he wants to do Galactic Civilizations 3....eventually. 

It's going to be a long time before that happens, however.  With all the other game projects Stardock has going on right now (with Elemental merely being the most visible), I'm willing to bet we won't see GalCiv3 til at least 2012.  Odds are it'll probably be even later (2015, maybe? I wouldn't be surprised). 

 

I do firmly believe we'll get to play GC3 someday.  Just not anytime soon.

I think it's a safe bet to say there will be a GalCiv3. Wikipedia quote;

"According to Stardock's CEO Brad Wardell, as of March 2008, Galactic Civilizations II has sold around 300,000 copies in total, bringing in an eight-figure revenue, when the budget was less than $1 million."

GC2 payed out tenfold of what it cost to make (at the very least).

Stardock, any updates on those figures?
