How to Edit Bonus Tiles???

Is there any way to edit the bonus tile on a planet? I've searched the forum, and there doesn't seem to be any tool or method for this? GalCiv has been out like for 3+ years... and nobody has done it?

its not hardcoded just a pain to mod thats why nobodys tried except ZYX he's done it now im intrested will ask him how he did it So I can add it to the mass effect mod.

So, what's the question exactly?

I know for a fact that the Bonus "tiles" can be linked to a terraforming system such as what i added to X-Worlds' planets, but IIRC the feature(s) themselves aren't moddable.

Unless the OP meant the tiny icons which provides extra % to the PI built there, in which case mostly the values are either hard-coded or anyone can indirectly create some new system for it by editing the xml file patterns to match. Trick is, to balance gameplay consequences as somehow proven by the HUGE bonus given with extremes tiles found in XW.

You can also add bonus tiles to any planet by editing a saved game file, using a hex editor.
