Looking for Mods

I am looking for Mods that improve the game. I am playing Gal Civ 2 UE. I am looking for any mods that change or improve your game. For example, with Civ 4 there a host of mods with more weapons, Civilizations, techs and sounds/music. There are also mods that 'fix' the game in many ways and improve its playability.

Are there any around that I can look at or ones that you all recomend?

Can I have the 'mods' directory hold more than one mod or do I have to tell it to look at one at a time. This is a big issue because with Civilization you could do a mod-pak and have many different mods active at once to add a ton of flavor to your gameplay.
