I'd like to mod out (or at least modify) some of the Mega Events (like precurser ships and the arrival of the Dreadlords).
Where can I find these mega events? by the way, I'm playing Twilight of Anor. Thanks in advance
The Mega Events are hardocded, which means you can't actually modify their effects. You can change the pictures or the text they display though.....
That's too bad those ships are game breakers.
Precursor Rangers aren't mega events, as they occur even if mega events are dissabled.[e digicons](\(\[/e]
Getting a glitch with emoticons. Wierd. I add a spock, and get spock surrounded by two cool smileys and giberish.
I can't remember the last time I got a precursor ranger in the game. Never seem to get that one. I'm not a big fan of mega-events either so I just play with them disabled from the game setup.
I'm trying to decide if I should play with mega events or not. Could I please have a breakdown of the pros and cons of playing with mega events on? thanks in advance
Put the game in cheat mode and use Ctrl-Y to run through the mega-events. That way, you can look at each one and decide on them as a whole. To put the game in cheat mode, simply add the word cheat to the end of the command line in the shortcut properties.

I've come up with a mod that effectively emasculates the Arnorian ships, rendering them weaponless, defenseless, and invisible. They're still there, but they just can't do anything. I'm looking for a place to upload it right now.\
