Come sail the sea of stars with G.R.O.S.S.

GROSS is always looking for new people. We sail along the sea of stars in the survey ship Doom. The Jolly Roger is our flag. We stand ready to fight any human or alien who gets in the way of our goal. Our mission is to cleanse the universe of non-human influences. We Get Rid Of Slimy alienS.

We kill them, trick them, enslave them while pretending to be friends, make them beholden to our culture, whatever it takes to rule the universe. Afterall, they would do the same to us if given the chance. We don't care where you come from or who you are as long as you pass one entrance requirement: be human!

We do not care how good of a player you are, whether you are the type who only gets out of the bunk once in a while or someone who wants to be in the thick of it manning the guns, or helping to call the shots on the bridge, we need all types. You just got to want to play, dominate, and win, all while having fun while doing it.

Welcome aboard the Doom, passengers and crew alike. Come sail the stars with us, with GROSS!

Should I indeed join the pirate crew of GROSS? What
about those Whiskey people or the wholesome White
Council? ;)

The Council I just read is coming back online but will not be competeing for the score. The Whiskey guys are all drunk and they are missing most if not all of their teeth. I really see no other alternative other than GROSS.

As a public service, ANZAC spies have obtained a picture of this pirate ship's crew. Join them at your own risk :p

Hey, I didn't know Frogboy joined GROSS... :D
Reply #6 Top
Frogboy? Oh, yeah. He's like the boss of bosses. We just give him a cut of our loot once in a while, and of course, honorary membership. ;)

But, fellow Galcivvers, you have a choice: you can sit back and watch us dominate, feebly try to stop us, or join the crew. Afterall, we're not just big, we're GROSS. :)

The shocking evidence provided by ANZAC does indeed
show Frogboy as the captain of the GROSS crew. And
in the background Staffa and Gerakken. ;)

I'm not worried. As I recall, froggy kicked some major pirate butt by the end. I'm going to enjoy watching this re-run. :)

Forget this GROSS nonsense, come with us under the Southern Cross and join the ANZAC empire! Free beer, dental and superannuation and tickets to the 2003 AFL Grand Final. The Battlecruiser Waltzing Matilda comes fully equipped with luxury staterooms for your pleasure and our Maori death commandos, kelpie attack packs and exploding sheep promise misery for all who stand against us!

That isn't the real Gerakken, by the way - we got him two days ago. We've taken out the Ace of Diamonds (Staffa), the Ace of Clubs (Pontius) and the Ace of Spades (Gerakken)...it's only a matter of time before our democratic liberation of the universe is complete, and sheep are free to roam everywhere..... :HOT:

You have the liberty to join GROSS or not. As for being liberated, sorry, ANZACs, you're being owned at the moment. :)

Sigh. Same old ANZAC tactics. Failed tactics from a falling empire. Lame lame lame :) But I do love the picture of GROSS et al. Too bad we can't post that somewhere.

Ah, another good thing about the Doom: the booze rules. You have to bring or loot your own booze, but we don't mind drunken players. One of the great GROSS trade secrets is that some of us play better while drunk. Time for me to teach some aliens some manners.

(Gerakken dives into his alcohol ration for the night.)

After leaving the weekly Elite GROSS Crossdressing Squad (EGROSSCS) briefing, tottering down the tree lined avenue in high heels, Rob - or Robina, as he prefers to be known this night - hears a rustling in the tree branches overhead.

Glancing upwards, the last thing Robina sees is a huge brown hairy arse falling fatally downwards......

Could it be....the legendary drop bear?

Watch the skies.......... :HOT:

Do you have to play evil???

No. You do not. G.R.O.S.S. takes all allignments. There is no good and evil in this game. You can wipe out billions of peeps in an eyelash and be labelled Good. While kill a few worms and be labelled evil.

Those had to be some of the lamest movies ever. The first one was passable in a check your brain at the door sort of way. The rest were lame even by that standard.

Gerakken is busily welding parts onto the Doom as it lies in spacedock for a routine refit and resupply. He notices the visitors coming up the ramp a little too late and is caught off guard. "Great, no one is running the tour," he mutters to himself. He shuots down to the crowd:

"No guided tour today. Go on in and make yourself at home. Just don't push any buttons, pull any levers, or crash the poker game in the officer's lounge. The crew is pretty friendly, they might show you around a bit. Just don't steal their booze. We got plenty for visitors in the observation lounge. But watch out if you go down into engineering. Those guys can be really weird at times and have a strange sense of humor. I got to get back to work."

In the confusion, Gerakken fails to notice the dashingly handsome visitor in the blue jumper with the rather large rucksack, apparently stuffed full. A short while later, the visitor leaves...the rucksack does not seem quite as full as before.....

Unbeknownst to the Aussie spy with the rucksack, Capn Pontius, on his way to the transporters, lifted the sixpack out of the Aussie spy's backpack, and took it with him to the beach. Best Aussie Beer I've ever tasted. Though that bomb in the sixpack did kill Shamu and Flipper.
