Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Quoting Stant123, reply 15574
Something I noticed that I didn't before, if you don't have enough fleet supply available when the ability is triggered, the pod blows up and you don't get the flagship.
End of Stant123's quote

Well then, you had better have enough fleet supply. :P

So my thinking is to turn off the auto usage since the AI doesn't trigger it anyway.  That way it doesn't just happen after you research it even though you're short some supply...  Or make the cost of the flagship a single point like the escape pod so that there will always be a point available for each other (or make the shuttle cost 50, or make both some other number).

Yeah, I might just do that. Pity, I was hoping to get the AI to use it.

damned hardcoding

Yep, and yet the agony and the ecstasy of it all is enjoyable.

I dunno if I would go that far. Having the AI actually moddable would probably make you even happier cause you would get the end result you so want.

Meanwhile, I was going to ask: Everyone was looking at the modifications that Dawn of Victory made and one of the things that stood out to me was the symbols used for the zoomed out map. Is something like that of interest to anyone? I know we couldn't have as much fun with the UI as some would like, but changing things up like that would be something.

Butthead: "Hehehehe.  He said 'Hard'."
Beavis: "Hehehehehe.  Yeah yeah.  Damned hard!"
Both: "Hehehehe."

I could go for some new icons and such.

Nacey said he would like to do something like that. Send him a pm and I will see about getting him to read it.

Funny how much it takes to make him read.

Anyway, will do that. Now, back to the stupidity and hypothetically considered assisted suicides!

2 milligrams? You need to get better explosives. Wasteful.

ryat, 2 MILLIGRAMS is 2 1/1,000 of a gram which is 1/1,000 of a kilogram, and there is 2.2 pounds per kilogram so I am using 4/1,000,000 of a pound of explosive. even nuclear explosions only give gram mass to 10 kilogram equivelence efficiency, and I am getting milligram to 10 kilogram equivelence, and if you care to look back about a month or two I showed a picture of a 5 kilogram explosion on a moon(looked to be similar to a LARGE(gigaton mass size) high velocity (500+miles per second) impact.

sarcasm, anyone?

Like I said, a couple of pages back, I am a firm supporter of the metric system and understand it quite well. You need better explosives. Wasteful.

Now, here is one pictogram of the explosives I like to use.
