Why not? Besides, most of the thread is just complaining that the show isn't perfect.

It could do without the sex scenes. Other than that, I like SGU.

1. Becuase it's rude.
2. Becuase it makes you look like a juvenile troll with too much time on their hands.
3. Becuase it could easily get the thread locked if it provokes other wingunts.

I just watched episodes 4-9 on hulu.  Not bad altogether.  Though i felt they were tryig to hard with some of the emotional stuff.

On a side note, is anyone else reminded of Zylenka (Spelled that wrong i think) from atlantis when they see Rush?  Not that Z was an asshole, most of the time, but he always did have the potential.

The communication stones in particular bothered me.  Would the IOA really allow people to take over someone's body entirely and not have them escorted?  There's way too much that could go wrong with that.

ya... the whole okeyness of them with the body thing is kinda wiered... although it seems like telford is going to get back at that other guy for having sex with his body.

I know.  What if they ended up having a kid that way?  Wouldn't it technically have two fathers?  (1 biological, 1 actual, since the biological ie telford wasn't aware of it at all, until the glitch brought him back.)  You'd think that would be one of the rules.  No having sex in someone else's body.  (THat sounded so dirty...)

I dadn't actually see the episode, so can somebody tell me if Telford is considerably younger/more attractive than Young? If so, it would explain a lot on the wife's part...

i think they're the same age, and neither looks that good to begin with.  But, i'm a guy, so how would i know?

Well, looks like back to the usual tripe.

10% substance - 90% garbage.

I'm really tired of all these 'trips home' via the stones. The whole idea of the stones is lame as it is. They can't send a signal to speak to or see one another over that distance, but they can touch a stone and have an instantaneous transfer of self. Right. It was barely tolerable in SG-1, but to have it work a billion (or billions) of light years further is just too incredible. Is it powered by a Duracell ZPM? Going through sub-hyperspace?  

And the slut gets yet another one in bed to 'comfort' her, after playing yoga with her 'friend'.

We got some lesbian action in this one, too. What's next? Must be PC, after all. Some male on male action? Or how about a little pedophilia?  Where's the Muslim in this show, hmmm? A little jihad might make it interesting. Maybe a Buddhist priest is one of the 'passengers', that could shed some divine light on the situation. (I guess that should turn out to be Rush)

Yup, this show has SO many good and interesting possibilities.

Can't wait for the 'mid-season' finale.    

Actually, I think I am done with this show. I will set my cable box to any other channel, just to make sure I am not included in the viewer stats.

I have a pimple on my eema that's more interesting than this show.

The Stones they use have definately ruined the show.  

I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future something happens to where they cannot use them anymore.  

I'm hoping they are just trying to create a situation where the crew has just lost all of its morale, and then start making this get interesting.  I just hope they don't drag it out too much.  

I started watchign last nights episode, 1 minute 10 seconds into it all of a sudden sleep seemed like a more interesting idea than continuing to watch.  Just because you are going through space on a spaceship does not make show automatically sci-fi.  They think we will stick aroudn for this? Good luck.

Worst part is if the show, or more precisely when, gets canceled it will just leave me so bitter because of all the money they wasted on it instead of putting it into a good show!  And hell this might damage SG brand so much if it gets canceled that no other SG show will ever get made!

Waited so many months for this show, and I am so disappointed.  Truely heartbreaking.

Wow. I just watched episode 9. That was absolutely the single worst episode of any stargate series EVER. First of all, they ended the previous episode with a cliffhanger. They never actually showed them capturing the little buggers and making the cure. Its as if they decided between last week and this week that they didn't like that storyline and decided to completely redo it, but forgot to actually come up with a new story. Which brings me to my second point...

They did NOTHING. Nothing at all. No gate travel, no eventful stuff, just... bleh. Young beat up telford, big woop. They even threw in some country music a few times just to add insult to injury. That's not science fiction, that's redneck fiction. They had better get their act together by the end of the first season, or IMO it won't be worth even hoping for anything good to come of it anymore.

You know, I was actually going to watch this episode to give the show one last time, but now it sounds like I maybe shouldn't bother with it.

The first two shows were fun.  This one is not.  I'd rather watch a fun show with flaws then a technically better show that is just not fun to watch.  They seem to have somehow forgotten that with this show.

Ya know, this episode, "Life" actually did suck. It's not just drama, this episode stank.
