Living in New Zealand, patiantly awaiting the GalCiv 2 beta to be released.

Fan of many turn-based strategy games, such as GalCiv, Master of Orion series, Civ series, and Space Empires series. I'll be around for a while. Can't wait for Galciv 2.

Hello I am Drachir Shonthar a buisy being as I am admin or moderator on 2 sites doing 10 hr shifts at my rl job and trying to play a bit of GalCiv 2 (beta)

Cancelled my Pre Order because I could not log on after the initial time.

Now I can.
Not sure what has changed.

Question 1: Do we send bug reports to Cari_Elf? Or is someone new designated?

Liked part one and want to help make part two a bigger success for you guys so you can make part three.

It's been a while since I've been to the forums. I am absolutely THRILLED about GalCiv2. I pre-ordered the CD yesterday and am downloading the beta as we speak! I hope I can make a positive contribution to the final product. Frogboy and the gang do such great work, it feels good to see them succeed. The big gaming companies could learn a thing or two from this bunch. [Edit - took out the rude remarks about MOO3 and certain dishonest publishers - heheh]

If only there was a Linux port in the works, I could die happy (yeah, don't tell me about WINE - bleh). But I still love you guys anyway.

Tried out the Beta today and thought it had some great points. Saved a game but could not reload the game. I don't really want to keep it running all the time to finish a game but I just might.

This is being done so well. I'll definitely be renewing my Totalgaming subscription to continue participating.

* Ive ran into a problem loading any of my games that i have saved.. when i try to load the closes and it kicks back to my desktop..

* Also when i take over a Alien planet the game will then freeze up on me ....after taking a alien planet it locks up soon as the screen goes back to the map....

those are the big problems i have had .. tons of little stuff to but nothing that locks up the game

now far as things i like .... the creating of your own ships .. the new map look .. but all in all i really like the direction the creators are going !!! good job and plzz keep up the hard work !!!!..................................................................................thanks....Cove512

and is there a forum were i could post problems as i find them??? i seen were i can send the files and write saying what happend when civ2 Crashed but being a end user i dont feal like going though all that .. <

That was a game by Sid Meier that is almost as old (1996) than the original Galactic Civilizations for O/S 2 (1994?)
