Interface black out and 3d backround white out

I been having a problem with GalCiv 2 TOTA. Every once and awhile my interface will just go compeletly black and the only thing on screen is the galaxy screen and just the words inside the buttons. The other thing that happens is the backround will go white and any object will be a green squad. I have the lastest drivers for my videocard and i check the heat levels and they are within normal levels.

CPU:E8500 3.16gzh Intel Duo Core 2

2gigs RAM

Radeon X1950 Pro Video card with 256mb memory

Generally issues like your describing are not game related but graphics card relatd. Occasionally a bad driver where reinstalling or using an older driver might correct. However often its the video card itself having some minor malfunctions and basically going bad. I'd think likely its the card itself so maybe get a new video card as white outs along with graphical boxoutlines are either the game engine, the video card driver, or the card itself. However the GC2 game engine is fairly solid other then if your tabbing out frequently, your vid card unless a new or odd card is probably a fairly standard geforce or ati many many others use.... leave the 3rd remaining possibility... the card itself.
