Well glad to here the reports are good.  Now you just need to do the preventive maintenance that is required.  Pretty much the same stuff Mr Starkers does for his computer and vehicle, just don't let him kick the tires.  :O

Present company excluded I know how some doctors can be, I think your idea about fireworks is a good one. Good luck.

Frustration (and Chinese New Year) engender 'fireworks', but usually, if one can take just a small pause and take stock of what that's doing to one's body, the frustration-anger coupling can be broken.

This allows a more fruitful path to obtaining one's goals.

It allows setting up a win-win rather than (even if it's so as it appears to be in Shaunna's case) an "I'm right/admit you're wrong/do what I want"... which engenders hostility in the other person, and not cooperation in achieving your goal.

You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar?

While a true statement, I was suggesting a general mechanism to deal with any frustration/anger.

Hmmmmm yer well it looks  like ill be heading to the Hospital on the 14th Oct at 10.30am Aussie time to have this wound cleand out and a removal of a stich or stitches  inside that I so say had a alergic reaction to the stiches, progress at long last  the thing is though I will be in overnight only because of no transport as family are unable to help this time due to other commitments and they wont allow me to travel on public transport straight after the surgery. My fire works fizzled? I say not if I haddnt rang them this morning nothing would have been done then the fire works would have been seen as far as the U.S.A and further  .... I just want to take this oppertunity  to thank Doc for his advise and giving me his ear   and letting me  go on and on  about my woes, and a huge THANK YOU  to everyone on here  for your kind  words  and support it means so much to me  to know that this great community has wonderfull  people in it I just cant thank you all enough

Good luck with the op. We'll be thinking of you.

If you remember some jokes, luv.... you might have them in stitches...so to speak :-" .

If there's no infection I'll be quite happy, as I'm sure you'll be as well.

Put all your energy into getting well. A good attitude (though difficult at best when the Cap'n's around  ;) ) will do wonders!

YAY im home been home now since around 2pm aussie time, all went well the infection has been cleand and best of all they took out the bad stiches and sewn up the outer cut rather than  leaving it too heal on its own.  AND you will never guess what???? I had a phone call from the Doctor that saw me in the ER when I was rushed up by the ambulance a few weeks ago, well anyway she rang me to appoligise to me for the way she treated me  she said she didnt mean to make me feel the way she did and she also reassured me that I wasnt a hindrance, funny how things change least of all did I expect a call from the Doctor  that treated me....mmmmmm  Hey Doc did you come to aussie to sort her out or something hehe I had a dream that you came over  and stayed with us while I was having all sorts of probs and lets say you sorted them out lol

As Doc said alls well ends well. thank you everyone   everything is going great guns the wound has heald nicely and 2 of the stitches have fallen off due to getting caught up in  my shorts which only leaves 1 lonely stich, which i will just  get my GP to take out  rather than go to the Hospital to get it taken out now where did I put those scissors *_*
