Ship Movement?

If I have a ship set to sector sweep then why does the game pause on that ship as if I have to move it each turn?

You may have 'End Turn Skips Moves Left' set to NO, and the game might just be telling you that the ship has some move points left over. I've had this happen before.

Also, Smitty, once all "tiles" of the sector are uncovered, the "auto-search" function terminates. You will need to move the explorer to a new sector with unrevealed tiles to get it scouting again.
