Hi I-Modder,

the I-Mod Techviewer 1.1 Public has been released for GalCiv2.

It fixes some bugs and adds print function with 3 backgrounds, one optimized for paper printing.

Bugfixes:

-crash when loading multiple "generic" mods, now identifies with directory name or description.

-sometimes, the Techtree hungs when swapping between the techtrees of different mods.

My pc says its spyware what gives.

what virus scanner do you have? it's definately no spyware. Caused probably cause it's reading up the Galciv directory and registry.

I use Avg 8.0 and xoftspy i'll try it again to be sure.

Awesome, the last version didnt work on my computer for some reason. I am having some problems clicking on the technologies. It seems some technologies are unselectable, mostly the later ones.

Are you looking @ a mod, or the generic tree? What expansion pack (if any) are you looking @?

A glitch of my own: looks like the "group" renderer is unable to figure out my six-tech weapons and sensor groups: although the text displays everything correctly and there are no other glitches, the techs unlocked by the first tech in the group appear to be connected to the second tech, instead.

Here you go:I think it's just a graphical problem: all the text in the botton area correctly indicates the groups coming from the FIRST tech, where I actually put them: i.e although it LOOKS like the Ice Missiles have the second thrust missile tech as aprereq, they actually are unlocked by the FIRST one.

Well, I noticed that you actually have to click on the TEXT of the tech in order to read anything...... are you trying to click on the box?

Yep, same results with the X-Worlds techtree in DA...

The Programer (Timo) is aware of this, he will take a look at the x-worlds problem and the group glitch.

@fox: you need to give more information, your sentence is not really helpful.

 

version 1.1.1 should be out the next days.
