Civ's still not expanding

so does any one know how to fix this?

What difficulty level and map size are you playing on?

cirtain AI personality types seem not to be expanding, you might want to try changing said personality type in the race config file, it helps, sometimes. ive found that personality type 7 when applied to any civ rarely seems to expand.

to adjust, just open raceconfig with  notepad, scroll down till you see <AIPersonality>x</AIPersonality> and change it, the major civs use specific ai personalities, dont know them all off hand, look through the file to get a sense of whats what, as some are dreadlord/minor civ specific.

note that this isnt a surefire fix, ive seen some odd stuff when messing around with personality types, but give it a shot, might help. - im unsure and have been too lazy to research it to see if you can only have X number of the same personality type on any given map. (or for that matter, what each personality type tries to accomplish)

Immense map, on normal...it was a pretty boring game. I haven't finished, but I don't think there is a way for me to loose lol. I think I'm going to wait around though for a super event to spice things up!

I vaguely remember fixing this in the past by deleting the following:

C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor

It should get recreated when you start the game again.

You'll lose all your settings and game saves so back up first.
