This is getting absurd.
I have to save multiple times per turn now, and it's a near-miracle to advance a turn.
Have players actually played deep into a gigantic everything-abundant game?
All of the 9 major races are still there as are 2 of the minor races. The top several races have pretty much researched everything, and the factors on the ships are huge. Most of the mine resources are unmined now. I have two that I am still guarding hard with fleets - a Green and a Red. I abandoned a Purple one or two, as the research job was about done.
It's a great game. It really is, but I may just have to throw up my hands and go play some other game I can actually have some chance to finish. Maybe go back to Crysis, or Total War, or something.
Tried playing an immense game. I've got crashes regularly. I save all of the time. Judging by task manager, the game crashes when it clears around maybe 2.2 GB of RAM.
