Ultimative diabolic Research 280 weeks?

There is a technologoy in the techtree of the drengin I did not know: Ultimative diabolic Research! It gives me tons of bonuses and is requiered for all my militarization technologies like planetary invasion! And it takes 280 weeks at the beginning of the game! I havent played the game for a while but I fail to see the reason for this castration of the drengin! Why is that and how can I change that?

Um, I think you may be mistaken a bit.

Ultimate diabolical research is a tech at the end of a research building branch.  It lets you build the "ultimate slaveling lab" or something like that.

The technology that unlocks planetary invasion and others is called "strategic analysis" and that is unlocked right after "interstellar conquest" which is a tech at the beginning of the tree.

Unfortunatly not. In that case it would make sense! Some things semed to be messed up!

Got 2 named "Ultimate diabolical research" technologies (in german).

The first is in the tech-tier for the labs the other is a required tech for planetary invasion (something really messed up)..

Funny, I have a german version too. Could it be that the Problem is related to the language? I have the same setting as you.

I had the same problem (endless universe german), but only noticed it in the DA campaign, as I don't play drengin in sandbox mode.

It's indeed somewhat strange. Shouldn't it be possible to find out what the tech should be by using Galactopeadia?

Hm, going to try that later.

Strange, neither a quick search in the galactopaedia nor in the TechTree.xml files yielded any results. I have no idea where this tech comes from...

Shouldn´t we report this bug? I can´t play/reinstall the game right now since I am back in my daily work/non computergames life. I only play during vacacions and such to ensure that the game is out of reach for me now ;)
