Weapon Turrets

Hi GalCiv 2 Fans!

Today I finished the basis for all new Turrets in New Frontiers. They will have a similar turretstation but different "Gunpipes"

Here's a preview of what I done so far:

Looks cool. Will have to download the mod when it's done to check this out. Would you guys at some pouint be willing to do a little work for me on a personal project (there's karma in it if you do).... there are some things, mostly involving graphics, that are a bit beyond the tools I have to work with.

Well, it's not time-specific. There's so much to do, I expect to still be working a year from now.

I am assuming you have DesktopX? I am too stingy to buy it just for modding, & I wouldn't use it for anything else, but I want to create a UI that is similar to the HUD and menus of the Metroid series of games. Of course, I would prefer it to be all of the screens. If you are interested, I can post screenshots of the games, for inspiration. Even if you don't I will probably still post them.

The turret needs something.... some sort of dome or antenna on the back...
