I hope you see my point and at least understand where I’m coming from.
I see your point, and it is not an unreasonable position at all. Let me rephrase my views in a more civilized manner:
From my perspective, I see the metaverse as an integral part of the game. Stardock uses the Metaverse as a "selling point", so it seems reasonable enough to me to claim that Stardock is obligated to maintain it in good working order so long as Stardock is continuing to market the game (including the Metaverse) in an ambitious manner.
As far as the patch goes, you are correct that Stardock owes us nothing. My case rests soley on the fact that Stardock promised the update, and that leaving the Planetary Governor in a state of disrepair is a disservice to both Stardock's reputation and their customers' ability to fully enjoy the game.
I will concede your point that disrupting Brad's thread was a bad way to draw attention to the subject. Perhaps if Stardock hired you on as a forum moderator, we would not have such a buildup of frustration. After all, we really just need some form of two-way communication, and someone with your literary skills would go a long way toward preventing the perceived need for flagrant behavior.
As for you good folks at Stardock, please be so kind as to take a moment to consider my points. For my part, I'm done playing spokesman for the frustrated JoePlayer. It is someone else's turn now.
