planet message

i have had the most aggravating experience twice. a message comes up saying that a planet around some star just became a lvl 33 planet. the name of the planet is given and it is usually a name i never heard of. i then check all of my star systems and can't find it!

is it possible that this planet is in an empty system? is there any way of clicking the message screen so it can take me to said planet? it does it for ships, why not planets? i have had this come up twice for two

Maybe you haven“t explored the part of the galaxy yet where the star is located. In that case, the star would belong to an alien race.

I've had this happen to me as well - every star was visible and I spent a good half hour combing the map sector by sector looking for it to no avail...

Every single time I've seen the "Alien Archeologists have magically bumped up a planet's PQ to 30+", it has been in a system already controlled by the AI.

If you own the planet, you can find it quickly. Click your "planets" list open--on the bottom of the screen, next to the domestic policy menu IIRC--and you can scan through your worlds quickly. If it's PQ 35 then it should be bright purple. Also, you can sort by PQ so any class 35 world should just pop to the top of the list.

If you don't see it, then obviously some alien got it.

Once I got that event on Sol, on a tiny/rare map with only eight yellow stars in the whole galaxy. The game got much easier after that happened :)
