Does it really matter what it is for, perhaps it has some hidden functions

If you don't need it, don't put it into the mod

It is for the powerfull Computer gnomes.

 

They need appeasment or the will spell out doom for all computer-users

 

If we are lucky, then they might miss-spell it, but I doubt it.
