jrla21 the answer you seek is in the starbaseRACE.entity files, and the upgrades are in the starbaseupgradeRACEtype.entity files.

What folder would I want to look in?

All I basically want to do is upgrade from 8 SB upgrades, up to 10.

create a folder under the mods-entrenchment 1.02

create a gameinfo folder in the new folder

copy the program files\sins\entrenchment\entity.manifest into the new folder

copy from your reference set of 1.02 the gameinfo\starbase*.entity files to the newfolder\gameinfo

go to the newfolder\gameinfo then open in notepad each of the starbase*.entity files

look for a line with maxUpgradeLevelCount and change the number at the end to the number of upgrades that you want to be available

save the file.

SUCCESS! All My starbases now have 10 upgrades a piece as opposed to 8. Oh yeah, booyahh. My first ever mod!

Congrats!   Once you start playing modded sins, it's tough to make yourself go vanilla again!
