Timeline Malfunction

For some reason, all of the timelines for all of the races went to zero at a certain point; that is, up to that point the graphs are normal.  This occurred in both the large timeline graphs and the small ones on the control panel at the bottom of the main screen.  After continuing to play for a couple of days, I have discovered that when I first start a session the graphs go from zero to the appropriate statistics on the second turn, but when I quit the game and restart it everything is back to zero rendering all the timelines useless.  It appears that the application is no longer able to store the figures of previous sessions from that point.  Frustratingly, the procedures for getting a screenshot don't work when I am in the game either.  Suggestions?

Check the lengths that the timelines display for-it may be resetting it back to 0 weeks; just set it to show all (or whatever the equivalent is) and it should work.

Interesting that this would occur in the bottom miniscreen as well...I'll have a look (after I wake up).  Don't have a theory on that yet.

Had the Same Problem on a Gigantic(?) sized Galaxy.

Sadly I dont have a savegame of this game after it happens anymore. Just double checked.

End of Sole's quote

If I click the Show All button, the timeline graphs appear normal up to a particular point and then everything plummets to zero from that point on.  Setting the turn limit to anything up to 52 weeks results in an empty timeline.  When I begin a game session and click the Turn button, the graphs lines temporarily go from zero to the appropriate statistic and then continue normally from the third turn on.  But, when I end the session and get back into GalCiv2, the graphs are all zero again and all data from the previous session is missing.  Interestingly, the comparison charts on the next from page -- where you can compare your race's Military, Treasury, etc. level with other races' -- appear okay, but the timeline graphs are useless.  It is like the timelines just up and quit after a certain point.
