FMA is considerably lamer than Code Geass... but comparing FMA to Code Geass is like comparing a Honda Civic to a Dodge Challenger, Code Geass is in a league of it's own compared to other anime, only Death Note comes close, and that's a bit Dark....

That's true... well, in Death Note it's sorta similar to Code Geass. It follows around High School Senior/College Freshman Light Yagami, an established genius with an IQ of at least 160-170. The series picks up when we get introduced to the Shinigami (japanese for God of Death) known as Ryuk, who gets bored as a God and heads to Earth for some fun. Shinigami kill people with notebooks called Death Notes. Whomever's name is written in the book will die. If a cause of death is written beneath the name, it will happen. If no cause of death is specified, the person dies of a heart attack. It always takes 40 seconds for someone to die from the Death Note, unless otherwise specified. Ryuk decides to drop his Death Note onto the ground on Earth, relinquishing his control over it to whatever human picks it up. When this human dies, control of the book reverts back to Ryuk. Light Yagami notices the Notebook, and picks it up. On the first page of the Notebook, the intructions of the book are written. Light can also now see Ryuk as a result of acquiring the Death Note. Skeptical of it's powers, he tries to prove the Death Note's powers to himself by using it on a criminal on Live News TV who has taken a daycare center hostage. The man dies of a heart attack once his name is written in the book. Convinved that he was destined for this, he decides to create a world where no criminals exist, and everyone bows to him as the God of the Mortal World, with any rebellions being wiped out by the powers of the Death Note. His plan is to first establish himself as a good character to the public by killing all the world's criminals under the name "Kira" and then to start a religion around himself with the Death Notes powers as his proof he is God.

Hmm....I know I shouldnt see it that way, but for some weird reason, Death Note's plot doesnt seem lame to me, at all. Its actually quite interesting....

You should see it as interesting, I said it's the only anime IMO that comes close to Code: Geass in terms of interesting plot development, character interactions and so forth... but TBH, watching it to the 100% probably isn't good for your mental health. That, and there's no romantic plotline in it at all, just the Teen Model Misa-Misa who's in love with Light, but Light only uses her love for him to his advantage in becoming Kira. Banned because I never said that, but the whole love triangle/diamond of C.C., Lelouch, Kallen and Shirly made it so much more interesting, and sad, at certain times. (Damn you Mao, and I'm sorry Rolo, but don't take it out on the people Lelouch loves)
