You're Banned!: The Forum Game
Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for not correcting an important US civics point: Almost nothing any president 'does' is done directly by that president; they're upper management, not real workers. They all do their jobs by attempting to steer bureaucracies like the CIA and wrangling with Congress over legislation.
banned for pointing to the reality of government as apposed to the illusion
Banned because I'm perfectly content to give the military and intelligence apparatus (which is so militarized it might as well be part of the military) credit for killing Bin Laden... and the blame for when Aymen Al Zawahari and his "new Qaeda" buddies start being active again.
EDIT: "new Qaeda" is my term for the more militant ones not content to sit in a suburb in Pakistan, release videos, and plan impausible heists. Considering that it seems as though Bin Laden himself appears to have been the one who "went soft", "old Qaeda" may be a better description.
Banned for your mother is Osama Bin Laden.
I know several people who think that Osama really isn't dead, and have these extensive conspiracy theories about how the CIA or whatever replaced his body with someone else's bloody body and took him back for questioning...
banned for conspiracy theories
Typical. The government can present all the evidence in the world to prove something and people still won't believe.
banned for all the evidence is indirect.
When they put his head on the spire of the Empire State building and charge admission, then it's convincing.
Meanwhile, I full well know the charge of a President, but some wrangle/push for things harder than others. FDR was hated, by the Senate, for how aggressive he was in personally tackling the issue of the Great Depression. JFK authorized the Bay of Pigs and his approval rating went up after he admitted to that and was willing to take the blame. Nixon took the heat for the Watergate scandal, although he knew about it, but the work and planning was all done by party men. Bush took one last shot when he signed off on the first big bailout before leaving office, but he wasn't involved in formulating it and figured to let it pass as he was already transitioning out anyway.
So, no, it's not fair to put it all on one person, but it is possible for that person to make something of the position.
banned for the statement was all encompassing upon such ones that make any conspiracy theories
