banned for Windows 7 is working pretty sweet so far.
banned for blaming Microsoft
Yeah, it is really stable. I have had little issues with it. (mostly the "Do you want this file to interact with your computer?" question gets a little annoying)
banned for thinking I was blaming them. Hell, this is the first thing I've liked since 98. As for the file interaction, I can live with that as long as this doesn't break down like Vista did. That thing crumbled like a .jpeg on a 3 1/2 floppy.
banned for everyone blames Microsoft
Yeah, I was glad I never went Vista.
banned for it came already on my last machine. No one warned me I would need to keep my 98 disc.
banned for XP was better the 98
at least about 3 gajillion patches later ![]()
banned for XP at least didn't degrade as quick as Vista.
banned for comparing XP with that garbage
I rarely had issues with my copy though there was always a bit of slow-down just before it was time for me to reset the OS.
banned for not using windows 2000 ![]()
banned for going there. You really shouldn't have to reset an OS. That aside, Vista works well on the simple construction of a laptop, but with a tower, it doesn't perform.
Banned because I had Vista on a laptop, and I have 7 on my current computer, which isn't a laptop. I never had any OS-related issues with either, except for having to be cautious about Vista service packs, because of what you hear about Vista SPs and compatibility issues.
Like I said, for simpler devices like a laptop, it works without a problem. With my tower, Vista had its quirks and then not too long ago started showing signs of degradation. I held it off until I got Windows 7 for cheap, which is just in time as the OS was really starting to fall apart on startup.
banned for cutting it close.
banned to the seventh level of hell then dredged up to the ninth level of heaven then again banned to hell
