Licence key?

Hi just download Bootskin(vista) it will load fine but says update available.

Try to update but it says registration invalid, maybe wrong but seem to remember you had to go through the motions of buying it from impulse.

As it is free they just e-mailed the licence key but cant find it to add to cart.

Might not be able to see the wood for the trees so can anyone steer me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Where did you download from?  Impuse or the stand-alone link?

I'm having the exact same issue. There seems to be two different versions available, a free one which I cannot update, and another one (not free?) that is not available anywhere on Impulse. All very strange.

If you have the licence you may need to register it inside impluse.  Open Impulse and click on the Impulse orb in the upper left hand corner and then click on >Register a product...  when the registration list opens up look at the botton right nad corner and click on >Add registration...  Enter the seriel number and the e-mail address you used to register and/or purchase and so on and so forth...  Then click >add registration and it should appear in Impulse and you should be able to update it from there.

I hope this answers your question.

Good Luck !!!!

Well, what do you know? Just tried again for God knows which time - but now it actually installed (the free version) WITHOUT telling me that there was an update available. Go figure. Sorry about the disturbance, I shall refrain from complaining anymore about this issue  :D

Famous last words. After a 24-hour hiatus, the uninstallable update is back.
Impulse tells me that Bootskin Vista (not free this time) version 1.02.052 is available, and that my current version is 1.02.011.

Update not possible due to my registration for this product not being valid.
