Ending of TOA campaign

What's the official word on what actually happened at the end?  What happened to the Dread Lords and Arnor, Drengin and the rest?

I'm not sure, but my guess is this: The Dread Lords are gone, the Arnor transcend away taking their technology with them, the rest of the Galaxy is left devastated and all civilizations try to struggle from scratch. The Drengin and other evil civs retreat to their core planets to lick their wounds and regroup, while humans, altarians and the rest of the surviving civs try to repopulate and rebuild the desolation left by the DL and the Korath. That's when a new, yet unnamed menace enters the scene.

Welcome to GalCiv 3. ;)

But the Drengin & Korath control most of the galaxy at the end of DA.  TA campaign did not do much damage to Drengin & Korath, so the rest of the races should still be suffering.  Maybe only the return of Alan Bradley with DL technology can turn the tide.

Also, it was never explained what happened to Nero Mancer, the male Altarian leader.  Did he die and get replaced with the female leader?

In DL, the race was the Altarian Republic.  The race we encounter in DA and TA is the Altarian Resistance-all that is left.  I remember the lore explaining it a little bit better than that and in a little bit more detail, but suffice it to say it's likely a great many Altarians died.

A pity the lore is limited and sometimes contradicting.  Also, some of it is reserved for GalCiv3.  Is there a coherent lore covering all the way to the end of TA?

My guess for GalCiv 3 is that it focuses on the Thalians trying to save the universe from the humans and ends with Alan Bradley being sent back in time to ancient Alteria to become Draginol.
