I just ran into an issue playing a game and couldn't decide if this was by design feature or a bug. Here's the setup.(playing GalCiv2 Ultimate edition) I was playing a custom race in a game on a large map. the pirate mega event and the jagged talon megaeven had already occured. and I had made a number of custom ships to deal with them. as those events were winding down, the plauge event occured. suddenly all of my custom ships disappeared from my build cues and were unavailable. all of the ships of custom types disappeared from space (but not planet orbits) the fleets were still there, but showed no ships.  the fleets became, in effect, place holders. puzzled, I pressed on since I was in no imediate danger of attack. I researched the cure and suddenly all of my ships were available again for building but the ones in space were gone.

this seems related to the plague mega-event, but I thought that only effected planetary populations. 

Was this supposed to happen ( in the change the game mega-event way) or is this a bug. anyone seen this before? I should mention that I updated to the latest patch when the game installed the game.
