class 1 planets

I only play galciv 2 occasionally, and i noticed that i never see any PQ1 (or PQ2/3 for that matter) planets anymore. Maybe since TA; i believe i saw them in DA. I read some older changelogs, but couldn't find anything about it. Maybe it's just a matter of map settings?

Or does anyone know if/when there was a change?

DA still has class 1 and 2s, but they seem to be removed in TA. Shame too

Yeah, they're still there, but very rare. Maybe a handful of them in a 500 planet game.

you'd have to turn habitable planets down I think for them to appear more commonly.

or at least that's my theory.

No. I actually need to play more TA overall . I've only played a couple fully abundant games, possibly with 1.96 at that and didn't remember seeing any at the time. Though it was one of the things along with the overall planet counts that were nerfed in TA. Good to know at least a few are still around.

I'm still playing DA 1.80g, I get a few of them on a large map with occasional / abunndant settings. Maybe like 5 -10. Those are really great to get once you go neutral or get the orbital terraformer.

ever since I got the expansion pack I have only played it about 5 or 6 times. I thought i'd use it more.

I see them all the time in DA 2.0-whatever, and have learned to seek them out.

With the orbital transformer, they become PQ 8 - 10 or so.  I have not seen the AIs use the orbital transformer.
