Cant uninstal free version

Hi,

I installed the free version, then decided to buy the full one. I am told to uninstal the free one, reboot and then instal the full version. Trouble is the free one will not uninstal!!

I have tried going to Programs and features then select the program click the remove button. I get the UAC asking me if I want to continue, I click 'Yes' then nothing happens!

Am I missing something here? Please help!

The following should work....

Go into control panel and then user accounts, turn off user account controls and then reboot your system.

Right click on your desktop and choose a static wallpaper, uninstall the trial version of deskscapes.

Turn User Account controls back on and reboot.

Install the full version of DeskScapes.

Ever see a question in a tutorial thread, Wiz?

I was referring to RomanDA's Post in the DX Tutorial Section re 'Question or Tutorial Thread' in a rhetorical sense. I've noticed that Posts don't always make it to the most appropriate section.

I think Posts should clearly state the problem including the software/hardware involved, and the System info. If one is seeking help, the more info the better.

That was funny to see a question about "asking questions in a tutorial forum", in the tutorial forum.

Fortunately no, probably suicidal (try doing that to the guy who writes your Rx's)....and definitely immoral the way he meant it.

It was....and I have a sneaking suspicion that RomanDA did that hoping someone would discover the irony of that.
