patches for Dreadlords

I have owned Vanilla GalCiv 2 since it was released but it has been on my shelf for a while. I bought a new laptop and decided to install it again. I tried to update the game using the button on the main menu. It opened a window to this site but there were no patches. The window it opened directed me to another site (I forget the name) but I could not find any patches there either.

Can someone please direct me to where I can obtain the patches for Dreadlords? I would really appreciate it. I tried using the "Search" function here but no matter what I typed in it came back with zero results. I am not sure if maybe I am not searching correctly or if there is an issue with this function.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you have the serial number for the game, then download Impulse from http://www.impulsedriven.com/ and register the game in there, along with the email you registered the game with. At that point, you'll be able to patch Dread Lords to it's most recent version.

Standalone patches don't exist anymore to my knowledge. BTW, Impulse isn't like Steam, in that you don't need to have it running or even be online in order to play the game. It's just a download/patch program.
