Can any one help me, when the dread lords show up in a solo game soon after (or if I try to save) the game crashed. I have Vista and 62 bit computer. Any help would be great.
I have this problem as well, although my game crashes on the turn the Dread Lords arrive. Currently running DX9 on XP SP2. Have had crash with 2 different video cards, one ATI and one geforce. Graphics drivers up to date. Wondering if DX version is causing a problem, but I have no real clue.
Also, can't easily duplicate the bug for SmartException as I can't find a method for explicitly activating the dread lords event.
I had the same problem as well. I knew from the debug report that it was a ship issue. Eventually, I deleted the "fake dreadlords hulls" file (part of KHSM hulls mods), and the problem went away. If you have KHSM installed, you may want to do that and see if it helps.
BTW, I was able to recreate the bug by pressing "Ctrl + Y" with cheats enabled until the Dread Lords event came up.
