I lost my game in a fire (FOR REAL!!!)

Hi all.

I have really lost my game in a fire and was wondering if there is a way to download and copy it to a disk instead of just directly installing it from the galciv2 website?:\

someone said something about going into impulse and going to blue orb/archives but i cant locate it anywhere.

If anyone out there can provide me with step by step instructions on how to go about doing this please let me know how.?o_O

Thanks a bunch...|-)

Well, you could just bring up Impulse, go to the My Games tab and install it from there; assuming you've registered the serial for it. No need to put it on a disc. But if you really want to put it on a disc I'm not sure how you would do it.

[email protected] might be your answer.

Archive functionality (right click on an application) in Impulse; with the caveat that you'd need Impulse to restore said archive, and additionally that at present Impulse can't quite do so totally offline, as it requires an initial login first.

You also have the option of download and archive when an application is not yet installed, which is the preferred method simply because you can't make an archive of an installed application on say XP and transfer it to say Vista-or vice versa.  (The download and archive method does work in this instance, though.)

You would have had to create an Archive first, then you could use Impulse to Restore that Archive. The best way is to just use Impulse to re-install the game, that way you will be installing the latest version.
