Vista User Accounts

When ever I create a new user account and log into the new account I get a message saying profile didn't load properly and it logged into the default user profile???So when I setup DesktopX,etc for the new account it doesn't save the new settings...if I reboot the PC the settings in the new acount are gone....Anybody know whats going on??? or more to the point how can I fix it and set up accounts normally????Things like this drive me nutz....vista is such a pain sometimes ! ! !

Alright, I may not be the most educated person on the subject, but if you just calm down and respond in an orderly manner, explaining exactly what you do and what your problem is, I think it'll be easier for everyone.

Sorry...When I create a new account and the log into the new account vista tells me it didn't load properly and it has loaded the default user profile instead.But it will not save any changes I make to the account as it is the default profile....I can't even access the account I tried to create..
