Another Newbie Question

Somewhere in playing this game I must have enabled some function, which I can't find, where when I select a ship and click "launch", the screen centers on Earth (I'm playing Terran Alliance). This is getting rather annoying. How do I turn this off?

In the game settings menu (press escape and it should be the first thing you see on screen) there are numerous snapping options to enable/disable. There is one in particular called "enable auto focus to selected ship". Disable that.

Try messing around with the other snap options if that doesnt fix it.
