I have Galatic Civilizations II(Dreadlords)

version 1.50.135, am on a vista and have one main graphics problem.

 

The bar sliders for economics don't appear, and the "lighting up" of choices when you select them doesn't appear for me.

What's happening?

The sliders are locked.  There's an icon next to it, to the right of the percentage, that will allow you to unlock them.

It's not that they don't work.

I just can't see the bloody things at all unless in maybe campaign.

Same with alot of the other options.

Could it be because of the colors I selected for the race colors?

Ah.

Yeah, if the color's too dark, everything winds up too dark to see in the interface (in my experience, at least).
