How can take advantage of random event that tell me that my spies was working closely with minor race to get all the research of other civilization in exchange for a star system??
The odd thing about that event is that you dont automatically get any techs. The wording is decpetive. What you can do is trade with that minor civ for the techs that they stole. That's the only way you can tacke advantage of the event.

That's fine. I would love to trade them a Peace Treaty for all of the techs they own.
If you are at war with them, you can likely trade peace for all their tech, money, and their home planet. It works most of the time, so give it a try.

I've had this happen a few times. The minor supposedly steals all the techs from race X, a race which has plenty of techs that I don't. Then, when I go talk to the minor, none of the techs are there for trade. What gives? I've never been able to benefit from this one.
I've never seen that problem, but maybe the techs that are missing are only race-specific?
