Can't End Turns...Help!

Hello
I am having serious trouble making moves. I can start the game and make one move, but then I press the turn key and the turn doesn't end. I just sit there listening to music while my ships have no moves left. I am not on a system where I haven't chosen a planet, that's not the problem. This must be a bug or something, but this game must last more than one turn...

The only time I've seen the turn key freeze is if you have a situation happen where you have more than planet that finished some project. Basically you have to click through all the planets until you get ot the last one where it says done. Now if you somehow click out of that queue and click next turn, the game will freeze until you double click on a planet and go through that queue.

Same thing happens when you load a game and there were finished projects. You need to double click on a planet, click out, and then the next turn should go through.

ArticFrog, if forceinfinity's suggestion doesn't help, can you please run dxdiag (from the run commandl line on the start menu will work) and e-mail the report to me at [email protected]? I would also like to see the prefs.ini file from your data directory.

I sometimes get the game "hanging" and I have found saving and reloading works to clear it as well - not sure if that would help your situation.
