Galactic Civilisations II Ultimate Edition

Over here in the UK the above title is being advertised as being available at the end of this month. I presume that this will be like GC2 Endless Universe but, unlike the latter, WITH the original game included. Please confirm.

However, the biggest question is will this latest release  be based around the latest V2.0 code, i.e will it include all game updates to this point? Also what about any manual. Will it have a PRINTED manual and if so at what level will this be based - DA Level (where the latest printed manual sits), TOA Level or will it be based around game mechanics at V2.0?

Finally, I take it that any future (i.e V2.0+) Stardock updates will be compatable with this UK retail version?

Whilst I already have all the titles in the GC2 series I would give serious consideration to buying things over again in order to get bang up to date versions on disk (i.e V2.0) and a bang up to date, i.e V2.0 based, PRINTED manual

Please advise. Others are obviously going to be asking this.

Yup.

I'd expect it wouldn't include 2.0 on-disc, as it'll need to have gone to manufacturing already by now to release this month. Actual box contents would be up to Kalypso, so you'd need to check with them on that.

GC2EU should be up on Impulse for registration and updating within the next two days, and Ultimate should be available similarly within a reasonable timeframe of its release.

Heh.  Interally, we're using GC2UL for Ultimate just to keep it a bit clearer.
