GC2:TOA v2.0 bug

spies

I have several spies placed race-wide against others.  I want to remove one so that I can use it to remove a foreign spy on one of my planets.  When I press the remove button on the race-wide races, it does not remove it, instead it just pages/slides over to expose the remaining races.

Thanks

The Remove button is only used to remove spies that are currently disrupting an improvement.  The race-wide spies can't be removed, you'll have to spend more money on espionage to get a fresh agent.

i was wondering that.  But then why have the remove button there within the race-wide spies section?

I have the same problem. Although it should be noted that I can remove racewide spies when there is no page to turn.

Good observation, looks like we found a bug.

I have the same, looks like a bug indeed.

Well all I can say is, it wasn't there in the beta, and I didn't ask for it.  Oh well, just going to have to live with it. :P

This one seems real simple.  By the way, the other post was correct, if I have less opponents so that horizontal scrolling is not required then I can successfully select the remove button that is in the race wide section.

I love this game series and like how well it is supported.

I'm sorry, I only noticed that there were now Remove buttons for the race-wide spies after you mentioned it.  So please, continue reporting bugs. :)

when I reached the highest level of espionage it said I had "Spent trillions to get there". Is that misleading?

I used the agents who were sitting around in my pool anyway and as far as I know there is no support cost for agents or doing system wide surveillance?

This is probably left over from DL, where you spent money per week rather than agents to gain intelligence on an enemy.  You are correct, and with the addition of the civ-wide remove buttons, the text is no longer technically necessarily true (although it may be in some instances-after all, a trillion is only 1,000BC).

Fixed this.  Sorry that this slipped through the cracks.

CariElf, thanks!  You guys are simply the best game company out there.

Good if it's fixed now. You can remove agents even with that page flip thing, just push the REMOVE buttons as high as possible. The following screenshot shows the area you should not push:

Another thing to mention is that the arrow on the left flips the page only once, but the arrow on the right can flip it multiple times in a row - just like the middle area.
