Blue screen crash

ati3d2ag.dll

I just got the game and was able to play for about an hour the other night with no problems, then the very next day I tried to reload my saved game and got a blue screen error saying something about ati3d2ag.dll and then doing a physical memory dump? I tried updating every driver I could find even tried to reload the game the following (tonight 10/29) night with no luck and same error. Need some advice! I'm using a laptop for this and have a 60gb HD w/ 8gb left on it. 704mb ram (can't get any more). 3.2gb Intel P4 . GC II Dread Lords

Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem. The location you'll find the debug.err in varies depending on your game version:

Dread Lords, all versions:
C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2

Dark Avatar 1.5-1.6 (non-Vista):
C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar

Dark Avatar 1.6+(Windows Vista), 1.7+(non-Vista):
My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar

Twilight of the Arnor:
My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor

Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug will be erased and recreated for the new session.

Ouch, those drivers are pretty ancient. The game needs video drivers from at least the end of 2005 to run properly. If Toshiba doesn't have anything such, you should be able to get the last ATI driver that supported that chipset from omegadrivers.net, though be careful to grab the 6.5-based ones and not anything newer.

Ok does anyone have the driver or the location for the driver for ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP cause I can't find one and I'm not paying $30 for a program for 1 driver. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Drivers are free; if you see otherwise, you're looking at an ad or in the wrong place. The ones you need are the 3.8.252 (catalyst 6.5) on this page.

Also, turn off anti-aliasing.
