Greetings!


Welcome to the 2008 GUI Champs.  I'm sure you're all working feverishly to finish up your skinning masterpieces for this year's event.  But before you run off to submit your entry, make sure you have the right tools to do so.

This website is designed to work on Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 3. 

You will also need the latest version of Adobe Flash.

Additionally, please disable any script/ad blocking software.  Our upload system makes heavy use of specialized scripts to ensure a smooth and error-free submission process.  Any software that would interfere with Flash, Javascript etc can break the uploader.

You can try to whitelist the scripts to run, to do that, you'll need to add the following domains to the OK list for your blocking tools (this is not a guaranteed fix):

  • web.stardock.net
  • *.guichamps.com

update . i just submitted my dream and it took using Opera 9.62 next question can we submit the same dream to the reg. dream gallery also or just to guic gallery ???

Like the rules say, it must be posted to GUI Champs first.  New skins only.

Once it has been accepted and posted to the GUIC main site, you can post it elsewhere.

Note that in the future, all GUIC entries will be migrated to WinCustomize.

Can we post walls created from a dream to the WinCustomize wallpaper gallery while the dream is in Moderation at GUIC08?

I've been waiting until the dream is approved and I'm not sure if I have to.

Help! :waaaa: I cannot upload my WB skin, the 'upload file' buttons are not working for me. I logged out, ran CCleaner, logged back in and it still will not work. What else can I try?

Flash 10 doesn't work. You can only upload using flash 9.
